Our client, a Co. Kilkenny based Café currently have a vacancy for an experienced Chef . This is an excellent opportunity for growth and personal development for the right candidate. This position is a day’s only role and will be 4 days per week. The role: Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes. Day to day running of the café Assist in the development of new dishes. Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins. Implement and work to HACCP Standards. Ensure the hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation. The person: HACCP trained and degree or certificate in Culinary arts desirable. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Previous experience in baking essential. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Knowledge of best cooking practices.
