Matrix Recruitment are seeing to recruit a SENIOR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT, for our well established manufacturing Client based in CO. KILKENNY. This is a 12 month CONTRACT role. We are looking for a self -starter, someone who has a strong work ethic and experience in working within a busy and fast paced environment, to join the Finance department. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Month End Procedures. Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Payroll - processing monthly payroll for Ireland (Thesaurus) and UK (Bright pay. Filing of monthly returns on ROS and HMRC - Intrastat, VIES, RCT, VAT, P30. Bank - management and reconciliation of all banks and reviewing cash flow. Petty Cash - management and reconciliation of petty cash accounts. Supplier Invoices - processing and coding to the correct GL accounts. Payment - payment of supplier invoices including bulk payment run, allocation of payments to ledgers ensuring accounts are clean and up to date. Employee Expense Claims - approving company expenses on our expense system (Concur), verifying approvals and ensuring costs are coded correctly. Creditor Reconciliations - reconciling creditor statements to Aged Creditor Reports. Forward contract management. Management of car fleet. Ad hoc duties - filing, dealing with queries, monitoring AP email, etc. What are we looking for? 3-4 years’ experience in an accounts payable/finance department. Have experience within a fast moving department. ATI Qualified or degree/diploma in related discipline . Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook are required. Knowledge of Sage is desirable. Must be detail oriented and capable of handling a large volume of data. Should have strong customer service skills (customers being employees.
