What you need to know. Matrix Recruitment is working closely with our client, a Manufacturing company seeking to recruit a Engineering Technician in Co. Offaly . As the Engineering Technician you will provide technical expertise to ensure maximum efficiency and performance from engineering assets and delivery. This is a contract position with excellent opportunity for career progression within the organisation. Key duties & responsibilities: Ensure that safe working practices and quality procedures are strictly followed at all times. Provide technical support to ensure maximum efficiency from production. Manage contractors as required. Assist in training as required. Adhere to and Health and Safety protocols. Problem solving and troubleshooting within the production area in relation to equipment and processes. Ensure compliance to documented processes and cGMP requirements. Contribute to team meetings. Lead and support team based improvement projects and provides support to NPD/Project engineering departments throughout all project stages. What are we looking for? Degree or trade qualified within an engineering discipline. 3-4 years’ experience in an engineering technician role, preferably within the manufacturing environment. Significant experience and knowledge of relevant area (FMCG environment, building services) and knowledge of H&S legislation. Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
