We are looking for a hands-on Senior Quality Manager who will manage and direct the Quality Management System and Product Quality Plans, establish and implement quality metrics and drive continuous improvement activities. Duties: * Develop and Administer the Quality Management System. * Lead and manage the quality team toward ensuring outgoing product quality and that reliability is assured through appropriate monitoring and control activities. * Drive and implement process improvement activities to reduce on line defects and improve test yields. * Implement effective Data collection activities to monitor process performance. * Manage the company CAPA and Internal Audit Process. * Manage Customer complaints and the RMA process to effective closure. * Be the company ISO management Representative. * Provide effective QA support to Operations to meet Quality Objectives. * Liaise with Engineering during New Product Introduction phases. * Build confidence in production quality system by daily and weekly reports detailing issues identified and the resultant corrective action and preventative actions. * Assist in product transfer to other manufacturing sites. * Work with production to develop visual inspection criteria for different products and have a system to collect the inspection data. * Perform Internal Audits as part of ISO Quality System. * Ability to influence the Management Team on Quality Matters. Personal Profile: * Systems Orientated. * Ability to inspire, lead and motivate a quality team. * Proactive, ambitious and driven to develop and lead an outstanding Quality Department. * Committed to continuous improvement. * Flexible with ability to work effectively with Customers and also internally with Production, Engineering, Product and Sales departments. Qualification/Skills: * A degree in Quality, Science or Engineering discipline is an essential requirement. * Experience in a technical product manufacturing environment with active involvement on the shop floor and with experience in Quality tools. * Strong project Management experience. * Good Interpersonal and communications skills required to promote quality within Alpha. * Experience with the ISO Quality Management System and Performed internal audits as part of the ISO9001 System. * Have a blend of Systems quality as well as production Quality Management.
