We are seeking a trainee IT technician to work between our help-desk office in Portlaoise and off-site with clients as a field service technician. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of basic hardware and network troubleshooting. Prior training, experience and certification is not essential but is an advantage. Full training will be provided both "on the job" and through structured training followed by certification. Career Progression: Over time, the objective is that the selected candidate would reach senior field service engineer status. An ideal candidate should: Have a smart appearance, a friendly personality, be very IT literate, a good time keeper and be willing to learn. Show a strong sense of customer service. Have good organisational, communication, interpersonal and administrative skills. Show the ability to develop a trusting relationship with customers and clients. Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail. Have excellent spoken and written English. Show strong ability to work as a member of team and on a individual basis.
