What you need to know. Matrix Recruitment is working closely with an Irish Food company in the recruitment on a NPD Food Development Chef, this role is based in Kildare. This is a permanent position and you will report to the Senior NPD Chef. Your new job. Create recipes against a customer brief within the requirements of NECTAR to a high standard and to the agreed expectations of the Project Manager/Sponsor. Lead culinary demonstrations on and off site to both internal and external customers as part of our internal S&I schedule for new product innovation. Product Development for internal Innovation Pipeline. Deliver on customer requests, ensuring the quickest possible turn around time from receipt of sample request to the customer receiving the samples. Arranging and preparing product presentations / internal product workshops to a high standard and being able to explain these concepts to our customers. Analysis of Food Trends and transferring these into product and concept development. What are we looking for? BEng / BSc in Food Science or Culinary arts etc. 1-2 years’ experience in similar role.
